ABOUT

Who is she

After discovering ceramics as a hobby, my journey towards becoming a pottery studio owner has been fueled by my unwavering determination. Initially, as I sought a place to practice my newfound interest, fate led me to the role of an unexpected opportunity as the manager of a popular pottery studio in downtown Toronto. This experience not only allowed me to immerse myself in the world of pottery but also instilled in me a passion to further explore this art form. Recognizing the need for formal education to refine my skills, I enrolled in part-time classes at Mohawk College, where my dedication and talent caught the attention of an instructor who encouraged me to pursue full-time studies at the Haliburton School of Art and Design.

In the intensive Ceramics program at Haliburton, I honed my craftsmanship, expanded my creative boundaries, and gained a deep appreciation for the art of pottery. Armed with knowledge, expertise, and an indomitable spirit, I graduated with the vision of opening a pottery studio in the heart of Ottawa. My ultimate goal is to debunk the misguided notion that Ottawa is a boring city by offering a vibrant and thriving space for ceramics enthusiasts. This venture is a testament to my determination and sincere belief in the power of creativity to transform a community. I am excited for the future, ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead, and eager to demonstrate the extraordinary potential that lies within this dynamic city.
